Overton Community Garden
Anthony Overton Elementary School was closed over 10 years ago, but community groups are making sure the building stays open and accessible to the neighborhood. These colorful garden signs are my small contribution to the effort.

In 2022, I illustrated four community gardens across Chicago for Caring In Public: Revealing Community Gardens as Social Infrastructure, a booklet by NeighborSpace that explores the social infrastructure behind these community spaces.
